the xti although an entry level body can do some amazing work....while having the right equipment does play a role, someone that truly knows, and understand how their equipment work's and what you can get it to do will take better images every time over someone that just picks up the most expensive camera and thinks it's just clicking the button. here is a few non ski related photo's i did with a canon rebel series xti...we have one of those in the house as well

Do you do alot of post work to your pics? it looks like the saturation is heavy on most of those pics, nikon and canon...

99% of any post i work i do is mostly just slight changes in white balance, exposure, and contrast..i love contrast....the bridge pic above does have a few saturation tweeks in it just to make the color pop a bitit is obviously a long exposure 1:20 if i remember right..the model do have a little retouching on them as well but the saturation has not been touched....i've found i need to move it into negative numbers sometimes if i'm working with a couple of my lens's. anything i do in the studio i try to work with the brightest colors available to me cause i love bright color if it has to be in color and not b&w i really try to put in as little work into anything in post that i can cause i'm not a fan of altering images heavily..typicaql is to adjust exposure, contrast, white balance...play with the s curve a little bit and save

WHOA...went in to the office and just noticed 2 thing's 1. my brother swapped monitors with my calibrated monitor for some reason...and 2. he was playing with some graphic stuff and changed some of my default setting's..now i am seeing the huge amount of saturation in these riding pics.fixed back to regular default's and fixed them...changing the first post now to include the same shot's with the non adjusted saturation...it is now set at exactly what came through the lens.

hmmmm... I was just curious. It sounds like you are doing all the normal stuff, not sure why but the riding pics tones just look crazy to me... maybe I need to re-calibrate my monitor lol...

The model pics all look fine but then the landscape shot looks hot as well from the canon, I dunno I am lame picky sometimes lol... they are good shots!
