Thoughts on TDR waterbox in stock RN?

Friends has a TDR box he pulled off a piped ski that was too loud and was thinking of trying it on my RN. The ski is completely stock under the hood inculding exhaust and I thought it may be nice to hear a little bark and loose some weight with the TDR box

My questions are, will I loose performance? Will the ski run poorly? Are they well made? Is it safe on a stock tune?
(adjusters still epoxied) is it still way to loud even on OEM exhaust?

My factory pipe w oe box on my FS2 is about as loud as I can handle but my backup SJ just sounds way to quiet for my liking. Everything else I've read has said to steer clear of AM water boxes.

I'm not willing to loose performance so im wondering if i hould give it a go? Anyone have a video of the box with stock exhaust? Anyone done this that can chime in?

Thanks

Leave it stock. You might enjoy the noise while riding it but no one else wants to hear you. It's like when your neighbors pull their kids on a tube at 5mph and have Taylor Swift at full tilt on the tower speakers.

Uggh...the 'new' thing at our lake is all the d-bags riding Sparks with their stereos cranking Eminem. Seriously folks??

TDR has a baffled version and a powerspray which doesn’t have baffles. I have the baffled one in my RN with a b pipe. They’re very well made imo and the welds look great. Very small and light. It’s loud but not terrible like everyone makes it out to be. Probably doesn’t hurt to have people hear you and know you’re there either.

Hahahahahahahahaha thanks for that. Yea sounds like it's just way too loud for my liking. Just wanted a little rumble stock is soo quiet

Thanks everyone sounds like i'll just keep it stealth! Wish my B pipe was even a little quieter but can't imagine my FS2 without it, going back to my stock RN isnt easy.

We have aftermarket boxes on both our SN's. Mine was only because the oem fiberglass blew out and I needed anything asap. My buddy had a RN aftermarket box laying around so thats whats in it now. Neither is very loud to be honest with aftermarket pipes. I've had loud ski's and these aren't them.

I put a tdr water box in my bone stock superjet one summer and it wasn’t much louder than stock, just had more grunt on the lower end. I’d switch it and see what you think, I think you’d be happy with the sound.
