Thoughts on Wammer Pro Series hull

Does anyone out there own or ride one? I'm wondering what you thought of the strength, construction and rideability?

I like the look of them, and also like the price, but I'm not sure about what looks to be 08 style integrated sponons area. It looks from the pics that it extends all the way to the rear of the hull.

Any input would be good.

Cheers.

I am curious as well-the price is REAL hard to beat!!! Tho I must admit-I rode Crammit's XFT again yesterday, and I think I could really learn to love it.(but that is 3 times the $ for a complete XFT setup). Not saying the XFT aint worth the $, just out of my league.

Yep, I have heard about them, but I'm not sure if I actually want that...if you know what I mean!

I might end up going down that path though...

The fit and finish is very nice. Much better than years past. The ride is much better than I expected also.

nice... didn't know you picked one up...

what will power that baby???

I don't think he picked a new one up, but has ridden and helped tune jmeadlock's. He is dead on with the fit and finish comment. I saw jmeadlock's in Orange Beach and a couple at World Finals and they are NIIIIIICCCEEEE!!!!!

Yea, they're pretty and I like the handling; it can really turn sharp @ 30mph; kinda like a SJ with tubbies. Need to try some more rideplates (got a short wammmer one on there).

I just noticed some de-lamination on a rear siderail, and a few other bits of gelcoat or whatever that is coming off. I'm very happy with the boat.

I paid Wammer to put it all together; lots of $ but he does a really clean job and I'm lazy :)

Tricky got a motor dialed in for it a couple weeks ago; jumps about as high as my FX-1 off the little stuff now.

LOL

honestly, I have never been able to really ride other peoples ski's. I am just so comfortable with my own ski's. Just use to every thing about it, I get on someone else's and it just feels different, even on SXR's

You just built your boat. Ride that for a season first. Learn to roll with the power/weight you have, than throwdown on an XFT hull.
