Running into more issues. If anyone knows a better way to get ahold of someone from Thrust please LMK.... I think they'd appreciate me not posting these issues until I talk to someone. :grumble:

Got ahold of the member I purchased from, potentially identified the problem. Standby.

No offense Swap, but did you jump the gun on bashing a business in one post, and an hour and a half later in another post say "never mind"?

Part of the problem the X seems to have here is stuff like that being posted up.Brian and Thrust innovations is a quality shop and always glad to help customers with problems.Just because you cannot get a hold of them at the time you called makes it justifiable to say "I think they'd appreciate me not posting these issues until I talk to someone." Besides the fact that Thrust probably has one of the best trim systems out there.

Maybe try the old skool way by "working it out" first.

Rant over.

No..... Actually I refrained from posting my issue because I though it would be more polite. I meant what I said. I'd like to give them a chance to explain or talk me through the issue before I post a bunch of noise saying "look at this BS!! Screw these guys!" Blah blah blah....

Then I talked to the guy I bought from and he helped me identify my issue as 'the wrong part for my system' vs the part being straight up bad.

So no, I didn't retract my statement, I simply got my question answered. Also Chris is a supreme badass and called me on Friday evening to see if I needed any help.

I knew they were a quality outfit so I wanted to be fair before calling them out on the forum over nothing.

The problem is, thrust accidently sent 155 trim cables with the 144 set up. I did not know this when he sold them to me and I sold them I'm sorry to the 2 people that bought them but I never taken them out of the package. So I had no idea. I've already texted Brian to get 2 new cables to the guys that bought the systems from me so I can make them happy I'm so sorry about this, I had no idea, the trims were going to be swapped out for my older trims but I never swapped them out,

brian at thrust is a good guy, accidents happen all u can do is take the right steps to fix it. And I can assure the guys that bought the trims from me you will be getting new correct cables

Swap to help you with degrees . There is two nozzle out there we use this one has tri, built Into the nozzle . So you get less pivot from the ring but more trim is built into the reduction nozzle before it actually get to the trim ring. This provides a smooth transition in water flow . The ez-flow does have less throw the the original system due to years of testing and riding we have found like most top riders out there where you need trim but mot 35 degrees as it actually prevents height on backflips which is crucial to getting them all the wy around . So the ez flow has a balance of the two . Offering enough angle but not to much . If you still feel you need more you can trade out the reduction nozzles and this will allow for more .
I am guessing you had a 155 cable as well which had a production mix up we're there were 10-20 cables mixed up between the two sizes . Good news is now we have a new cable that will adjust for all sizes making replacing and interchange easier than ever and also allows riders moving up from the 144 platforms to 155 just to purchase a reduction nozzle and bushings and now they have 155 trim .
I check email at least every 6 hrs 7 days a week if you send to info@thrustinnovations.com

Sorry for any questions that were not answered feel free to email me

Few questions on Thrust EZ Flow Trim.

I just got this in, and its never been mounted.

First, the degree of throw doesn't seem like much. Granted I may not need more than this, but I thought it would have more degree's of trim.

Also, when installing it the reduction nozzle to my Solas Mag (with the rubber o-ring), the ears that mount the reduction nozzle to the hull are spaced about twice as far as the 61x reduction nozzle that I had on there. Its just a touch under 1/4" now, before it was maybe an 1/8th. I'm sure its not a big deal but I wanted to make sure its ok. For clarification, I left the wear ring mounted and i'm pulling the long pump bolts to perform this.

I sent a e-mail to Thrust and tried to call multiple times but haven't heard back. (only been a day, but I want to ride!)

Thanks Brian. I had a few people explain the trim in the nozzle thing to me. And apparently y'all had a cable mix up which is understandable now that I know that there are two cables. Before i was just confused lol.

Also thanks to Customride for helping me out. Great seller fo'sho...

Hopefully I get to ride today and try it out!
