Thrust Trim Questions

I am getting ready to install an Ez Pro trim.

This may be a dumb question, but where does this small piece of channel go? I would really appreciate any tips.

Can anyone please take a picture of how the adjustable stop channel is installed? I would really appreciate it. This is my first time installing a trim system. Thank you.

I looked at the instructions for Wamilton's trim system, but their system did not have the adjustable stop (at least from what I could see).
