I am putting the trim together for my DVX build and ran into a couple of questions.
First, the turning range of motion seems to be limited by the syphon on the nozzle. Mine has been plugged up. Can I grind into it to increase how far the nozzle turns? I started to but really need to go another 1/4" to get it the max out of it.
Next question. Not sure what they are called, but the rings that go around the nozzle (see picture below) seem to be limiting the throw in the trim itself. Can they be removed? Or is that a bad idea?
I have not assembled the trim system to the lever on the bars. Maybe the lever is the limiting factor in and taking off the rings will not make a bit of difference. Seems like the trim on my last ski with a 148 had more range of motion.
Check out the picks below and let me know if it looks right. Thanks.
