tie down ski in a crate

Crating a superjet hull. Its headed to Canada via Kommander. How do you guys secure the ski to the pallet base? Old ratchet tie downs or nylon webbing screwed to the base?

You can screw tie down straps to the crate (use washers and Lag Bolts) Wrap Hull with shrink wrap and blankets or cardboard.

I do it the way Lumpy posted. 2x4 with some padding

i used eye hooks and ratchet straps!just like on your trailer!

Watch that turf! Had a brand new ski come with strap marks. Lasted the life of the turf. Wanted to cry! Guy didn't know what he was doing. These look much better.
