My surf plugs also leak, it's like the ball is getting wedged in the opening and sticking open. Was thinking about changing for a scupper.

I use Versi plugs with duckbills on the end.
My reason is, in the event the ball gets held open by debris, a properly kept duckbill will still be sealed closed, stopping water from coming in.
Now, if ya balls are dirty and yer flap is open, you're screwed.

Watch out for that stray ziptie making its way through the duckbill. Its a rare situation though.

I can't find it now. But was told. Comp pole is like 27.5 to 28" from pivot point to center of bars with xscream steering. Pretty sure that's what the measurement was

Mine is currently adjusted to 36.5" pivot to pivot and I have 75mm riser bars rolled back slightly. Most people that try it love the ergonomics of my tray and pole/bar setup

Get the regular one. Krawler is either too embarrassed to admit it or for some strange reason he likes it. I don't know how short his tailplate is either, should be real short with that pole
It takes a lot to embarrass me haha. I run flat water chasing boats mostly so with the comp pole and the tail plate cut almost flush the length feels good for me. I could see myself running a longer pole if I rode surf more though. Different strokes ;-)
