Look under Tommy Rockets Aquabot Build and you will see... Use the search bar on this forum... Long story short... I did not ride for 1 year... and rode at Sebastian Inlet, Florida with some major wind and surf... Got my ass handed to me, but, rode great for 15 minutes... Then I was done... Throttle lever was set wayyyy to high, plus, drove down from Raleigh, NC the night prior 10 hour trip... rode 15 minutes... then drove another 10 hours home... Ski handles MINT and runs super strong... !!!

This ski is so well built that you can chop the footholds to pieces and reglass everything and your good to go.

How are people using a RN fuel tank since it was externally filled? I will have this hull soon and would like to swap over as many parts as I can from my 2001 superjet.

Buy an internal fill kit and you can buy a cap from Lowe's to block off the external fill.

Chris what about the rhaas "couch motor mounts" ? And which intake grate will bolt up to the bot?

I need to double check with Julien which mounts we used. Any SJ intake grate will work........comes down to preference.

I used these exact mounts with no shims needed... also a worx intake grate with zero issues

Depending on when the hull was made (or customer preference), they may have been set up for couch or sj mounts. To avoid any further confusion they all now come set up for SJ mounts.

Does the steering cable need to be a SN or RN cable? Prior post people said they used both.

U can basically build your whole ski just from ur 2001 sj you do need to find blaster 2 ebox mounts though if you want to mount ebox on firewall with the front foot hold or mount it else where
