You know the answer to that. Competition BOBs fall apart and some other extremely lightweight hulls haven't held up real well. Most riders aren't good enough to notice 10lbs but the strength and longevity of the hull can change drastically

Same thing. Too light and it won't hold up. I think all the sharp lines on this hull adds enough strength that it could be very competitive with other weights but I think Tony is smart enough not to send out a hull that's weak just to be the lightest one out there

Heck, my V2 bot is a flat water glass layup and it's pretty light! Never weighed it but feels close to the low 80s/high 70s range. Very peppy with just a ported 701. Will be able to do what I want chasing boats this summer ;-)

I have a problem with my Aquabot. I kept over rotating backflips today. Stopped pulling trim... Same thing. Did a 1 handed backflip... That helped. It's a nice problem to have, I'm not complaining. This hull has escalated my invert riding in the last 2 weekends. Hasn't taken away from my surf riding at all either and may actually help it. Very well rounded hull. If I ever tried flatwater and knew how to make a setup wake I could probably flatwater flip it and it's a surf layup. I love how this thing rides in surf, I wouldn't want it any lighter

I would like to hope part of your "problem" is that new motor you got in there too.

I have a few questions I'm in the market right now Im pretty much set n stone on a Rickter but some friends are telling me to check these out

What's the assembly like?
How does everything fit up? Any custom mods have to be done or any drilling?
How much clearance around the Bpipe head pipe?

The weight? And how we'll are they holding up? Has anyone trashed one in the surf yet?

I ride 80% flat 20% surf I want something I can toss around on the flat but tear up the surf with out it breaking..I'm also a big guy 250 5'10 I rode one for a brief minute at body beach but it wasn't running right

Also price does it come painted? Turf? Graffitx

Sorry I'm trying to find the scoop thanks in advance everyone

This isn't a hull that's going to break. I over rotated and flat landed backies all day yesterday, big re-entries, I went for 1 Backie that the ski ripped out of my arms and was 30ft in the air, I was upside down separated from the ski and had enough time to look around in the air to see where the ski was since I was scared of it landing on me. Assembly was very clean and easy. Inserts lined up PERFECTLY like OEM and plenty of room for head pipe. I have detailed assembly pics in my build thread. Mine is 97lb surf layup with 7.6lb hood. I wouldn't want it much lighter for surf. It's a short nimble hull that tears up the face of a wave, flips with ease, very natural feeling for big re-entries and keeping the nose down, this hull isn't going to pearl! The riding characteristics and hull length can change with a simple rideplate swap.

Bring receipts of composite parts and miscellaneous hardware etc. and tell them it's homemade. Just give them the receipts to copy and it's very simple they will supply you a title as homemade. FL is easy
