I will start by saying I've ridden most decent hulls out there other than competition flatwater hulls as I have zero interest in those. I bought an Aquabot hull and sold my Superfreak which was taking a huge risk not knowing how I'd like it. Fit and finish is amazing and assembly was comparable to OEM. Riding the hull grew on me quickly. It's exactly what I was looking for... Doesn't ride flat so it handles the face of a wave great and carvs like a snowboard but it can break loose also if you choose just by keeping it more flat. It'll rip turns stupid fast if you just wanna smash the lip like a berm. It's very playful compared to most other hulls yet it's very manageable and responds well to rider input. Most hulls seem boring in comparison and this thing will be almost impossible to pearl but the nose doesn't constantly send spray in my face like some other hulls I've ridden. It's hard to make a comparison but I'd say its a cross between a SF Badass and. Footrocket. Has the stability of the Freak but it is nimble and responsive like the Footrocket and rails turns. I ride surf so a lot of my examples are in surf conditions but I rode flatwater once while breaking it in and it was very fun. I normally get bored quick on flatwater

Great review. I love my Aquabot V2 as well. Mine is a flat water glass lay up and I came close to nosing a few flat water backflips in my first weekend trying them with just a ported 701 with b pipe. Nuff said ;-)
