The fvpro did feel more stable and less porpoisey than the dvx but I also have never ridden a flatwater ski before until this past weekend. Plus that thing was scary powerful. I like my big heavy surf boat for my big heavy surf lol you guys have a way better feel for what these skis are capable of.

@N3vrSat1sfied @Jyzmbe i never even talked to you guys when I was at the lake my bad

True, I can run down boats on the dvx.

I ordered an fvpro and thinking about the m1 for the wife.

How do you think the fv would do in small surf? I was all set on the fv until this came out, but probably will stick with it since it would probably be better suited since I ride mostly all flat. Was just curious on how good the m1 would be for flat without big power.

I think you could do the hybrid layup fvpro if you want to be safe in the surf. But i don't ride my dvx in surf so I'm not sure. I know dusty has taking his out.

I rode my dvx in Texas surf and thought it was fun. I chased boats all the time. In flat I don’t think the heavy hull and small motor is a good combo. If you ride surf all the time it’s fine
