TigerCraft SV1 build

I got it all together and fired it up! I trimmed two inches off the pole tubes, and the steering cable is a bit short still, but will work. After making brackets to mount the ebox to the firewall I realized it would be easier to mount it on the side, which is what Tony had mentioned also. I used a Cold Fusion mount, till need to get a couple more conical washers for the outside. Everything is a bit tighter fit than in my superfreak. I used an fx1 chamber and stock waterbox, had to pull the head pipe to get the chamber in the waterbox, then in the head pipe, then put the head pipe bolts in. This was my first build on a brand new hull, it's a bit more work than putting a used one together!uploadfromtaptalk1429829267552.jpguploadfromtaptalk1429829281606.jpg

Yea bolts in the Cold Fusion mount, the fuse cover is really close to the carbs, but in between them. You definitely want to have the motor in to mark the bracket location with a marker.uploadfromtaptalk1429831521409.jpguploadfromtaptalk1429831532756.jpg

Made it too the lake with the skis yesterday. Still need to get turf, and didn't have a bilge or drains in the back, and forgot about the unused trim tube being open. I had to ride it though! uploadfromtaptalk1430353014942.jpguploadfromtaptalk1430353026605.jpg

I didn't ride for that long, I have a have a long plate on it and long pole. It was stable, carved well and was able to break loose when you wanted it to. You can see n in the pic the lake was like glass! It's seems like it will be a blast in the surf, that's the test I am ready for!

Thanks to @Tpete115 for hooking me up with a piece of turf I needed, I was able to wrap this up. I have become quite indecisive the older I get and being I had to tell my wife this his "her" new ski. We went,uploadfromtaptalk1432486908499.jpguploadfromtaptalk1432486921105.jpg round and round about what color turf to use, waited forever to get it from a buddy. In the end I made due with what I had at the time! I always make one big mistake when I first start turfing, then I start to wonder if I am even capable of doing it. In the end I am usually pretty happy with my results. I try to shoot for function over form though, and then make it as pretty as I can. uploadfromtaptalk1432486877744.jpg
