Surfriding Time frame for chemical bond?

Say you are taking your time adding layers and the top layer is starting to tack up...can you continue to add layers or at that point should you wait for the layer to cure and sand before continuing?

You should be good to re-coat or add layers with epoxy if you can dent it with your thumbnail. After that you should clean and sand.

Don't go too thick with a fast cure in high temperature though, it can flash on you and it gets brittle.
