Hey guys, I've been a neglectful SuperJet owner for the last 5 years. It has just sat in my garage. I screwed up when I sold the Blaster because my wife was much less interested in going, Even though it barely got ridden. Around the same time we added a few new hobbies, Mountain biking and Kayaking. I have forgotten everyone's user name and I lost my old account. Tony, Brandon, Eric? are you guys still around?
Anyways, I am here to talk about the old SuperJet.
About 14 years ago I tore the motor down with the help of a few of you
bore to 81.5
wiseco pistons
Ported by Tony
replace front and rear crank bearings and seals
ADA girdle head with 35mm domes
MSD enhancer
carbon tech 202lt reeds
Hull and other stuff:
Light carbon reinforcing in engine bay
replace pump bearing(s)
hooker impeller
The last time I had the ski out it seemed to loose power after a few minutes. Maybe like it was running hot. It has been to many years now. My plan is to put together a to-do and to-buy list to get this thing reliable again. I'll probably start with rebuilding the carbs. What else should I get into? Dual cooling was on my list years ago, I just never got to it. My exhaust coupler split apart and covered everything under the hood in an oily mess. Where are you guys ordering parts from? I prefer to stay away from amazon. Are there any cool new SJ things I should know about? I have been out of the loop for a decade.

update thoughts
I ended up in the hospital 2 times from bugs I picked up while riding in Table Rock Lake. One was Cryptosporidiosis, beaver fever. The other was about like that but a different name. I am really good at smashing my face into the water when I ride I guess. That put a real damper on me wanting to ride. Anyways
I forgot, but I remember my ski starting to feel really really really heavy the last couple years I rode. I know that I wanted to defoam this thing at the end. While I am doing that am going to consider moving my footholds forward a bit. What do you guys think? `
