Yes. I prefer the actual plate at the stator. But the plug in chip works. Years ago there was some question as to the possible variation in actual advance. +/-

are the stock class racers using stock jets or are they up jetting with this?
thanks clouse I have one already just joined wires on stock sensor

With the SXR platform in stock class, there are so many variables. I ran larger jetting. I have known of other running stock jetting, but had other small things done. The SXR's like Fuel. Farthing had a jetkit that called for huge jetting changes. I know one guy tried it and it did not work well for him. But it is all about your overall setup. I did alot of tuning on mine. At one point I was getting really high RPM number with high air temps and humidity, Friend who helped me with some of my mods (He has multiple championships (Nat and World) said I was doing something right!!!!! It takes alot of testing on stock class platforms to really squeak everything out.

The story is I had a b pipe on sxr but I have now sold pipe and put back on stocker because it is now my second ski. but want to squeeze a little extra power out out of the old girl any direction for me:fingersx:

1. Solas Dynafly Prop cannot remember pitch. Dave and IMPROS can hook you up.
2. R&D Pump Shoe Inserts.
3. R&D or Mac Racing Exhaust Stinger insert (Pull of exhaust hose at pipe, slide in).
4. Rejet
5. Timing Advance - I prefer the plate, PJS if you can find one, more advance.
6. I Think I had disconnected the overheat sensor, but cannot remember!
7. TBM intake grate, you may loose a little top end in smooth, but this grate just plan works.
8. Stock Plate or TBM plate if your running bouys.
9. K&N Pro Series Flame arrestors.
10. Remove Choke plates and shaft. Add Primer if you need it.
11. Split cooling. Bring 2 lines in (plumbing already there, tap pump for 2nd fitting). One line for Motor, other for pipe. You keep the engine bay temps cool, motor runs better in higher temp situations. You dump 3 lines over board. 1 pipe, and 2 out of head.
12. Spend alot of time tuning carbs................. I was 200 lbs and my SXR ran a good solid 50-51. But biggest thing was it got there pretty quick and had lots of throttle response.

I believe the solas prop was a 13/21 or 13/22

If your happy with it!!!!!!!!!! The Dynafly is just like the Hooker. It is just that much better. Keep in mind with a Stock setup. There is no one single mod that brings that ski to life. It is the combination of many small things.........
