I'm assuming that is a slightly crooked picture of the bond rail? Wow that was some stress! Some silicone and a couple rivets and your back on the water. Lol that sucks sorry

that is a serious crack and should not go like that. this is a new hull and the first time to hit the surf water, so maybe a re think by ATP on this because why would i buy a hull that cracks so easy.
in regards to the uk forum ATP fund adds on there and for this reason its not impartial anymore, with the owner receiving money from ATP anything negative about ATP just gets pulled.

the crack in the bondline. this is on a new aftermarket hull. has anybody seen a hull go like this before in such a short time? maybe if you was looking to buy one then the thread would be more appealing to the rider?

Am I understanding this right?

The owner of the new hull crashed into someone else, and the Titan pole on the other hull cracked the ATP hull?

It's not all that uncommon for composite hulls to break when you run them into hard objects.
It really doesn't help that the posted picture shows hardly anything. Terrible perspective.

Maybe you're trying to grind some axe with ATP here.

How about telling us what actually happened?
Because if you're seriously complaining about hull damage after crashing into something, you'll get laughed right out of here.

I have a sneaking suspicion you're not in the market for an aftermarket hull but rather for a place to air your laundry.

I'm confused because I interpited what little he said to mean the pole flexed forward and broke the bond line apart? If it hit something that is totally different? If it is a thread to call out the hull maker then say that and tell the story in the first post.

i firstly saw this picture on uk forum and to what i can understand it was in small collision with another ski in the surf. i know that any kind of contact with another ski can cause slight or major damage but form the picture its a very strange damage, it looks like top deck came away from bottom deck, open up like a tin of beans???
for a new aftermarket ski that only just been released my concerns are is this a weakness in the design?? surely it shouldnt open uplike that????

Bottom line is if he hit something then that is actually minimal damage. My wife drives a new 3/4 ton suburban and if she hits something hard enough it's gonna split open to. I can't see any blame falling on the hull manufacture and if anything they did good that it didn't sink and he kept riding it.

And here we go again...There's probably a few other major jetski forums you might like to post your picture to in order to bad mouth a product/business that you clearly have a beef with.

Ski did not "split" open or crack like an egg silly man.

Just a couple of English half wits on an ATP witch hunt probably on behalf of their puppet master:shhh:
Chris

firstly if you are the owner of the company why go agresivly devensive and attack riders that critise or make comments on your products from what they see with there own eyes. you do the same on uk forum.

secondly im not a silly man

thirdly im not a english half wit on a ATP witch hunt on behalf of there puppet master.

no wonder you have a very high % of uk riders that say your rude!

thank you for your reply.

Hi everyone, okay it was me who was riding the Axis hull at the time of the collision, the impact was not a small collision at all when I'm coming down from a barrel roll off a wave. So, surely big props should be given to the hull for holding up the way it did and not sinking, let alone being rode for another 2 hours afterwards on a lake. I highly doubt a superjet or any other aftermarket hull would have faired better! I normally ride an xfs on flat water and would expect that to break after such an impact.
