///tl Pv Bb 8mm Lamey Build And I Need Exhaust Tips///

Im doin a build (24-7 backflip 7mm lamey build) obv RN..had issues with the
7mm crank,so im now going crankworks billit 8mm.But anyway i have a B-pipe
now,and my batt is in the middle of the hull and alum gas tank. What waterbox,or pipeing tricks can i do to save weight or to make the max power.
Should i ditch the rubber pipeing and go with alum, for consistant power?WAMMER is selling the carbon b cheap now..id like to save a pound there if i could...iv read the carbon b pipe thread and talked to a few and it seems
to me its just lighter but i won't lose power? guys in jap are useing
them, lenzi? Need complete imput on how to do this right and once.
Thanks Ben

I heard the carbon pipe makes less power but I am know expert. Something about sound waves resonating in the pipe wernt as good as the aluminum.

I heard the same thing about the carbon especially as it heats up. The pro guys don't really run that long 2 minutes.

To save the most weight possible just do front only exhaust with an x-metal waterbox LOUD but light.

And that aluminum fuel box can't be lighter than the stock plastic one or a tiny plastic kart tank

Please don't take this the wrong way i'm not starting anything. But I would ask paul. He is building your motor and will have/should have tested your porting specs with different pipes to determine the best one. I would go with what he recommends. Every builder knows what pipe will work best with their setup.

I dont think the carbon pipe has ever benn on a dyno to be proven wrong or right

This is not intended to create an argument so please dont l

He said stay with the B,its been proven,or try the EME when its out.

That's what I would do, since you already have the B-pipe. You just got a new motor and you haven't even tried it yet. What inevitably will happen is you will be happy with it for he first few days, and then you will want more power. Leave the EME pipe option for that time.

Why are you not running a TNT chamber? That's the pipe paul likes best for all his BIG HP motors. You really should consider it. Hard to be sure you get everything out of the motor if you don't run the complete package. Gil's running it on his new motor and he says his motor is rippin' hard.:veryhappy:

As well- I do not want to, and will not argu the topic
this was my experience yesterday-90 minutes hard run time w/a B pipe, full carbon, built by Crammit, looked really hard for a 'drop in power' after 15 minutes-did not find it! Had 4 other people on my ski to see if they felt a loss after a good heat soak-they agree-no loss after 15 minutes. The only ? in my mind yesterday was-I have had little dum azz issues that I created for the last 5 rides and the ski hasn't been 'the bomb' until yesterday. I am 2nd guessing myself as to whether or not I would have really felt a diff because the ski performed 1000% better than it ever has.

I think im just going to try one out? Im makeing my own waterbox out of cabon, kind of like the x metal but a little bigger..Is there a different resin i need for heat or use the
same stuff iv been useing? In the X metal or others is the main pipe go all the way through w/holes in it,like a motocycle pipe.Or is it a hollow tube and i use the outer pipe
for clamping needs only?

So why is Crammit not running one??
