What's electro polished ?

Its a charged chemical that polishes metal. Its used in the pharmaceutical field on tank parts.

Also used in aerospace for a variety of reasons. Recently we had it done to some splined shafts to help improve assembly into the mating female spline. In general we use it to remove a very small amount of material and / or greatly improve the surface finish.

I haven't seen it done to a pipe before, looks ace.
