So in front of the jet I run mine at 122 degrees F. This is with a 125 jet. But I have noticed that temp is like perfect for my motor setup
Right at the jet it’s about 89 degrees. I talked to Tim sounds like I’ll need to go down quite a bit in that jet probably closer to 100 or less.
Mine is on the edge of steaming, but I run TL ignition and I pull my timing back hard after 4K rpm, also a shallow prop, with my 760 hotter the better
Is your 760 stock or ported. Mine is stock with high comp head and VForce 2 reeds. My jetting is pilot 115 and main is 105 N/S is 2.3 and 15 Popoff stock dual 44 carbs. My elevation is 1500. 144 solas mag pump with a scat 9/ either 15 or 17 prop.
Ported top and bottom, ada head 200 psi, 91 octane fuel, v force 2, 140 pump with 9/15 hooker, I have a 4 mil stroker so with my particular setup I have 182 ex duration and 123 intake duration, blackjack carbs with 125 mains, can’t remember pilots, 26 psi pop off, dialed screws in from there, I have a 135 jet in my pipe and It still runs pretty warm but it runs well
You can run 200 psi on 91 octane with no problems. do you add any octane boost or anything
