if you buy a pos for 2-3-400 bucks...it may run for a ride or 2, or maybe not at all...then its going to sit all summer and cost you a fortune to fix it..

save up and buy something a little nicer thats been maintained and kept up on.....dont buy someones clapped out old :):):):) that they are looking to dump on someone else

it will be cheaper in the long run

If you like to ride salt water they go bad a lot of times. And i like the reliability. They dot charge your battery so if you fall alot and start the ski alot in 1 day it may just die on you. Your supposed to charge the battery every night with the total loss. The power gain is huge though with total loss. If you have want to buy this id suggest from my point of view to sell the total loss and buy an epic ignition with a light weight charging flywheel. Reliable, programmable and great mod right there.

Not if you take the time and do it the right way they don't...

x2. You're looking at at least $100 for a good stator, another $50-$100 for a fw, $50ish for a CDI, then you still need an ebox with relay, regulator, and a good coil.

Don't forget the sparking power of total loss. You can run Karo syrup and total loss will burn it.
