I'm going to indulge you on this. How exactly do you become "one of the cool kids"? Is it the people we ride with? (hint: I don't ride any more) Is it just the admins? (hint: there are only 3 of us now) Do you have to ride a Yamaha? (hint: Kahuna had both Yamaha and Kawasaki, I have none)
See where I'm going here? We get blamed for favoritism all the time, just because we have to uphold some rules that are pretty darned easy to follow.
Anyway, the thread that was deleted looked to us to be a complete joke based on the wording used so it was deleted.

Im a mod/admin on the srtforums..... I rarely go on anymore n its been years since ive owned a SRT4
but they keep me around cause Ive made a lot of close friends in the process

In 19 years of riding in Charleston, SC, Hawaii, Guam, Florida, Michigan, Canada, New Jersey, and tons more places, I did a ton of cool stuff, competed a few years (including a first place), but the riding scene here dwindled to nothing so I sold the ski and moved on to other stuff and more time with the family instead of riding either by myself or with 1 friend.
The only constant is change.
I have tons of friends all over the country and even world and like running what I've built here, so there is no reason currently to leave it, plus we don't really have another admin right now capable of handling the server stuff.

Strangely, a lot of people use this as an attack. I believe it earns double kudos. It takes a lot to spend time managing something to doesn't affect you when you don't get paid to do the job.
Not saying that applies to you Quinc (not sure where you were coming from with your statement), but it does seem a lot of people go there.

I, for one, thank you! I'm not a facebook weenie and really not interested in being one. This site used to be awesome and still could be (- drama). I thank you for supporting the site.......perhaps riding will come back to you some day. In the mean time, thanks for your efforts!
