Mindless, yes we tried various Claritin liquids. They helped with the spring changes and pollen. I'm also a Zyrtec user myself. But it's been constant fluid in the inner ear yet not always infected. Just very glad he's taking it all well and and seems to be much more comfortable. He loves the water and if we could keep his clothes dry for more than a few minutes that'd be a miracle! Thanks for the input. I hope to let him sit on my feet and cruise around in the tray of my ski this summer. Just as i did when I was a kid on the old kawi 20 some years ago!

Good luck. Man nothing sucks worse than watching your little one suffering.
The zyrtec seemed to help with our little one as he always had fluid and drainage from his ears after the tubes were put in. The zyrtec seemed to dry him up.

I put ear plugs in my little guys ears and take him for rides. Both of my little boys love it!

A couple of years ago, I found out the hard way that I was allergic to bees. Yesterday, I got attacked by one or two little f*ckers in a colony that was right behind our outside trash cans. Right on the top of the foot...boom. Oh SH*t.

My roommates werent home, and I got a little anxious because an ER trip happened last time. So I calmly grab a Corona, pop the top and drink it, go upstairs, open up my Epi-Pen, kind of read the directions, and stab the poop out of my leg. (I hesitated the first time lol...told myself to stop being such a little pu$$y.)

I continued to monitor myself for the next hour or so, and everything is good to go. My foot is still swollen and hurts a lot, and my thigh feels like someone hit it with a sledgehammer, but im happy to be alive!

I got stung a couple days ago too! I was in my background playing with the dog and was like "what are all those things flying around that hole?", walk right up to it and feel the sting and then realize they aren't flies, but a hornets nest. Got me right in the meat of my calf muscle. Went for BBQ and Beer to make me feel better lol

I'm the same way but Benadryl does me just fine. Good thing too because my Epi-pen expired back in 2001.

Never heard of a Epi-pen.... But glad you're alive!

So I'm on day 86 or 87 of my hiring process I think? Still not an employee.
BUT.... We came to an agreement on compensation today. Huge step. I think it's all down hill from here.

The owner of my current company is gonna crap 3 cinder blocks when I give him my 2 weeks.

My portable ac unit I have in the garage has an inlet and outlet hose that pulls in outside are to cool the compressor and then expels it - more efficient. I put a couple of vent things that have the flaps, similar to the photo below.

The outlet pushes the flap open automatically, but I use a little plastic clip to open the inlet. I don't want bugs using it as a passage into the AC and ruin it.

So about a year ago, I walk around the garage with my plastic clip and then reach into the vent to open the flap and clip it with the other hand. I feel something weird on my hand and pull it back, and I have about 10 wasps on it. I knock them off before being stung a single time. I'm not sure if those wasps were stoned or what, but I can't believe I didn't get stung. It freaked me out for the rest of the day though.

Few weeks back my wife said there was some wasp on front porch. Killed the nest. She also said there were some on the other. could not find. Few days later went to sit on the wicker swing, the cushion had a munch of crap on it. Picked it up to shake off and on the bottom side there was a wasp nest with about 10 wasp. I dropped it and ran. Did not get stung either. They must be related to yours.

My gate opener was not working to get to on my property. Open up the controll panel and full of wasps and ants on the controll board. Got rid of them all and had to replace the reciever that had a ton of ants in it.

When I got stung, (After BBQ and beer) I went to Home Depot and bought 2 cans of wasp/hornet killer. I sprayed the entirety of both bottles into the hole and then covered the hole with one of those blue plastic kid pools. That was 4 days ago and I haven't turned the pool over yet. If they are still there I may have to use more drastic measures.

I had a couple yellow jackets buzzing around a hole in the soffit right above the entrance to my old lake cabin. I didn't have any raid so I hauled out the shop-vac and proceeded to suck them up. Where I only saw 3-4 to start, I ended up with something like 130+ in the bag, lol.

Gasoline.

Don't light it on fire, just dump gasoline down the hole.

when I would open things up for summer, I would carry a spray bottle full of gasoline. Kills/paralyzes them instantly.

matt, you make me hate my life lol

Meh, I wouldnt be too envious. My living situation is pretty sweet, and my job is good.... but all my family lives up north and I really miss them. I am missing my niece and nephew grow up and missing all the other cool stuff my family and friends up north are doing without me. Some days I take my current life for granted, but I have worked hard to get here and everything happens for a reason.

I got a 100 on my statistics test today! My first 100 in college! Also there is nothing more satisfying than killing a nest of stinging or biting insects after they have gotten you. I love pouring gas on them and watching them suffer through my swollen burning eyes! Sweet vengance!

Good work on your grades. Its such an awesome feeling. Keep up the hardwork, it pays off.

Thanks Matt! Its not been easy this semester with a full time job, and 4 days before classes started we had a baby! Long nights from condensed summer classes and tons of homework too. Blessed that my wife is taking on raising my kids alone while i work and go to school. This has got to be my first 100 in math since i was probably 8 or 9. Blew my mind.
