Total loss with a bilge pump?

Ive just got the crappy stock pump now and want to install something before I began trying some freestyle.... Can a bilge work with TL or will I end up stuck on the water with a dead battery?

No problem. I used to run TL and dual 500 bilge pumps on all the time, for six to eight hours.

With a good battery, of course.

Good to hear, my battery is new only used for one outting. But is a regular acid battery not a gelcell... Would that still be alright?

i am running t/l with a regular battery. I haven't had it die on me yet during a day trip, although i don't keep the bilge pump on all the time only when i need it.
