Someone had a cool idea a few posts up...find a LRV or SUV 1200 and cut the rear end down, glass it up and add bunks side by side. Fab in some holds for gas cans and bingo bango. That way it's powered and you can just throw it all on the trailer at the same time.

At least it sounds like a good idea in my head. lol

Its not a hull, its a one off tow sled that I made to sit on the back of my XLT1200. I can lift this up and move it around myself. it took 3 guys to move the other hull after I stripped it down, and I would still have to add more weight to it, and my wife hatted it in the back yard. I just need to get it out on the water to try it out, and if it works, we will have a great floating base at our surf spot

What's the deal with the weight? Do you not have a boat ramp to put in your stuff?

I do use a boat ramp, but if I finished this one it would be like this.......

I would need 3 people to load it into the back of my truck my trailer is full enough with three skis, since everyone comes from all over, it would be a pain to get everyone over here. Once the skis are in the water, we would have to get the sled off the back of the truck, then hook everything up, load it up, and get the SJ on it.

I dont like being the D-bag at the boat ramp taking forever, plus towing a 150 pound sled, 280 pound of stuff would be a pain too!

The new version can be loaded solo, everything can be put on the ski before you launched, so all you would have to do is drop the ski, pull the SJ up on it and clip it on and your set! Gas will be kept on the couch on the side like saddle bags to leave room on the rear deck for fueling, and getting off and on.
