That spot is amazing, are any of those surfing pictures of you Taylor? Before Joe (Kenny) was injured he showed me pics of a trip he went on to Puerto Escondido, Mexico were some guys pulled him into some unreal waves. Unfortunately for us, If we had a break like that here in Oceanside there would be 25 tow crews competeing for it, all with an attitude, and all claiming ownership (even though they only tow there once every 6 months)

Last time I rode there, they all seemed pretty laid back that 25 stand ups came out of nowhere and took over Oside. One crew even towed me back.

What??? DJ the last time u were here u were on one of my skis and you rode it back- Am I wrong?? Probably not wise to assess the conditions of a spot you only ride once or twice a year. And just an FYI, we aren't taking over there spot, they are taking over ours. O'side has been an established stand up Jet Ski wave riding area for more than 25 years, that's a full 15 years before there were any tow surfers. I'm not hating on Tow Surfing, It's a cool sport, I've done it myself, I just prefer my ski. As a Local Jet skier and surfer, believe me when I tell you this, when it comes to tow surfers , sure there's a few cool one's but the majority are jack wads.

Same for me the times I have gone DJ. The surfers were always extremely nice, allowing me to mix into the sections they were on with ease, and then joking around at the ramp afterwards. Perhaps when visiting, we fortunately do not project a territorial attitude, and surely the surfers sense this, responding in kind.

those guys your towing in are lucky to have someone who surfs and rides ski's to put them in just the right spot.
