TPE 1105 engine review

I was able to try a few TPE 964 engines at the Brigantine freeride and I was shocked at how much power they had. One of the 964s was setup up with a factory pipe/stock ignition and it killed my xscream ss 865 with power factor/total loss. After that I knew I had to have one. I was planning on a 964 but I decided I wanted to go big and went with the 1105 instead. I sent payment on the 1105 knowing I would have to wait a little while but it was worth the wait. I have had my 1105 for a little over a month and I love it. Its more power than I need and has allowed me to do stuff I never thought I would be able to do. I have the engine in an aquabot V2 hull with a custom fixed steer hood that a friend built for me. The 1105 is setup with pfp, atp flame TL, full spec 49's, Maxx 148 pump, and uses pump gas. I weighed the ski at Wavedaze when it had a 701 engine and it weighed 300lbs. I never thought I would be able to flat water flip a 300lb ski but with the 1105 it is effortless. I would definitely recommend TPE to anyone looking to buy a big power setup.

So i finally got to ride my kdx 1105 and i must say wow with out even being fine tuned im excited i did alot of looking around and decided to go tpe 1105 after talking to Todd from raddudes and Phillip Clemmons i started buying everything they said to buy because in order to get the full potential of the motor i didnt want to cheap out on anything so i got a 155skat with total loss and pfp and php intake vforce 3 reeds and 49 fullspecs
Break in was a little hard temptation to hit the gas but i am still changing footholds around so it was easy to say no but now that it is broken it and running the i hit the gas and it just wants to go i am super impressed with the motor and the customer service with erik and phil and todd
Here is a small picture of half throttle as much as i didnt want let go it just jumps out of the water
