Who rode this new design at the WF's ? What are your thoughts about the power band on the SS ? Were there any 10mm stroker versions for testing ?
The 964 ran great. Very impressed. I will be ordering a couple soon for a few fs2 evos

I had a chance to try the 964cc SS in the Aquabot this past Monday and I was very impressed with the power this motor makes (the aquabot handled very nice as well). The TPE 964cc is by far the most powerful SS motor I have ridden. My +4mm TPE 1021cc with Zack's light weight billet crank does pull harder and revs faster but I'm still trying to find a 144mm impeller that the 1021cc doesn't spin from idle up to 1/4 - 1/3 RPM range to see my motor's full potential (a 144mm Skat-Trak 17/22 C75 is on the way).
I know I went against the norm by putting a big motor in a stock hull, but after running my TPE 1021cc in my stock RN Superjet I can honestly say that I never thought I could have so much fun on a stock hull. These motors truly offer a great opportunity for people who like the way the superjet hulls ride and handle, but really want the aftermarket hull power to weight ratio without blowing their bank accounts.
My TPE 1021cc will not be coming out of my RN Superjet hull, and I will be ordering a second TPE motor for my next project this winter, (and yes I did try a lot of other motors this past Monday at Body Beach).
