Saw this on facebook and thought it might be a viable option for finding your ski if it sinks. The range is only 100' from your phone and I dont think its waterproof but it could easily be housed in a waterproof container. Super cheap at only 29 bucks and the size of a keychain.

Just did some research and they're 18$ on amazon.. The general consensus is that connectivity to your phone is really inconsistent and not a great buy :(

I should look into this for my 16 yo daughters car. Not to spy on her or violate her privacy but find her if something happens. The dads out there know where I'm coming from.
Does she have an I phone? You could use the find my I phone app. A little primitive but works.

Why would you want to track your wife

I wasn't referring to my wife, i was referring to my 16yo daughter. There are many reasons to have the ability to track her car. There are too many sick f$@&s out there so I want to have as many tools at my disposal to find her if something ever happens.

I see your point, !6 year old daughter ? you might want a tracker in the boyfriends car

she does. I use that ap to check up on her from time to time but I would really like a tracker for her car.
Mike. At work we run 40 vehicles. We use fleetmatics $50/mo tracking unit in all vehicle. Tells you address, speed and if vehicle is on or off. They hav many add ons but $ goes up
