Tragedy has hit one of our Jet ski family last Monday night on Lake Lanier in Georgia.
Tara & Mike Prince were out on their Pontoon boat just after dusk, with Family and friends, When a speed boat hit them head on. The operator of the speed boat was intoxicated.
Tara and Mike lost two of their sons in the accident. Griffin (13) and Jake (9). Griffin is still missing.

When I moved to Ga. 6 years ago, some or the first local riders I meet were Tara ( “Ski Princess “ here on the X ) and Mike, along with Mikes brother David ( also an X member, can’t remember his screen name). What a wonderful family!!
Its heart wrenching to me that something like this can hit such a wonderful Family!
I heard about the accident earlier in the week, but just this evening found out it was the Prince family.
Needless to say, I’m very upset right now
A Memorial fund has been setup for Griffin and Jake. All donations can be made at a Wells Fargo Bank, using account # 7581668121 in the name of Griffin and Jake Prince

Paul, I came here to the forum just to send out a simple prayer request and saw your sweet post. Michael and I are asking everyone to please pray that they will find the body of my little boy who is still missing. We can't begin to heal until we can lay both of our babies to rest. Thank you all so much.

I am so so sorry for the loss of your sons. My thoughts and prays go out to you and your family. My you find the strength to carry on for your sons.

This has to be the worst thing that can happen to a family, I could not imagine losing a child, nevermind 2. Hopefully the scumbag that caused this will pay the ultimate price.
