this isnt mine but when i saw it on a CL ad it made me think of this thread. it may help the situation. not a total fix though.

I made strap pads out if 1" turf underpad. I cut grooves in them for the straps and strap over the back of tray, pulling slightly forward. The padding protects the ski and turf.

Thats a great idea. The bad thing is that you have to hook it from the front pushing to the back.

We can make a removable bar like that if this one isnt.

Im still thinking to add a rear bow eye as well. Wish to see a picture of yours. Someone mentioned that added two on the sides.
