Its honestly a fair price. I think Steve found out what a lot of new builders learn. Its hard to sell $3500 skis and stay profitable.
Pretty cool that there is a less expensive option from him. Looking forward to riding one and seeing how much better they perform.

I dont know why I'm posting on here knowingly i will get bashed but talked to Steve and he popped the new phantom bottom deck but he still needs to water test so he isn't releasing them quite yet he said another 4 weeks or so. Seems like he is taking a lot of time perfecting this hull so im excited to see what its like when released.

Steve may not be a certified perfect customer pleasing business man, but he absolutely is a guy with far superior talents than what i personally ( I've been a mechanic and part time body shop guy for 10+ years) have ever seen as far as genuine hard work and not settling short of his own perfection just to please the main stream crowd ... A lot of People truly do not understand what it takes to create a floating vessel worthy of horrendous thrashing and abuse... I can say this all from personal experience as a customer of Steve's (patiently awaiting delivery of my hull)
