Super Jet Trick's 1st SN build

After letting this sit for 2 months or so collecting dust, I decided it was time to figure out the issue and get it out on the water. After going under, water got in my front case and corroded the flywheel and stator. A quick order from JetManiac and the ski was running again. Put a hood strap kit on from him also to keep the hood from flying off again.

Sanded the bottom of the hull down and its handling better. Power feels good. Has decent low end and wasnt too far off a newer SJ on a top end run.

Nice build man. What are your thoughts on how the prowatercraft front sponsons help with handling? I havent tried them on a sn.
So, I'll disclose that I'm no pro racer and my ski riding ability is probably on the lower end of the spectrum. I noticed that with me on the SN that it likes to roll/fall into the water while in turns. I'm heavier than some at 220lb so maybe its more body position, but I rode my friends 08+ hull with PWC sponsons and it was flat out amazing with me riding similar to the SN.

I picked up a set hoping to gain a little with the old style bottom and I think it was a very worthwhile investment. I can kind of "feel" the line now when I'm turning of where it will fall into the water, and I think I gained top end stability too. Overall, it just feels more stable to me. I need to get one of my racer friends on and see what they think, but in terms of freeriding, they are great.

Nice man, great to hear. The sn in our group has funky handling, its a real flat turning ski that doesnt like to lean so its interesting to hear the improvement.
