Trim lever difficult to pull under throttle

So I have an EME micro with a Solas 12 vein mag pump with a trim system. I am trying to learn how to do a FW backflip but my trim is very difficult to pull when I hit the gas even a little bit. I am assuming this is because of the force of the water pushing on the nozzle. Does this happen to anyone else? It works fine at idle or slightly above Idle. Anything I can do to fix this? Thanks

Let off the throttle before pulling trim. Only solution.

I/we pull full trim under full load with 900-1200 cc freestyle engines here all day long zero issues. Raptor and XScream trim gives very minimal feedback through the lever

Very true - no difference between on/off throttle with raptor. That said, my thrust trim was impossible to pull under throttle and I was always afraid I’d snap a cable if I did. So, when you are off throttle immediately after your pre-hop pull your trim. It’s very normal to have a ton of tension on some trim systems under power and you shouldn’t really pull on it when it’s like that.
