Trim lever / Start stop housing on fat bars

Hi

I have a trim lever next to my start stop housing on a normal straight handle bar setup, however on my RRP taper bars the start stop housing does not fit on the bars where I need them in order to fit a trim lever
Do i have to grind / ream the inside hole in the start stop housing until it fits snugly...is that what is normally done for fat bar type setups ?

Get RRP bar extensions.

You can buy aura handle bars that are already one piece and long enough, for the price of the rrp extensions. Otherwise you have to grind the ss switch housing a little at a time. Grind too much and it will spin all over the bars.
