Also just a thought you can have to much trim. We reduce the throw on our flatwater ski's. To much makes the ski rotate to fast, less throw gets you more height and still brings the ski around.

My .02

Never knew this, very helpful.
Unfortunately i'm rocking a C.A.T.S. But I plan on modding it for a little more throw than i'm currently getting.

I have an xmetal set up and a thrust ez pull. both are great products IMO my x set up gives a little more tilt and the ez is er well a little easier to pull . Ez is also easier to fit and comes with everything you need .the x needs a little grinding on the reduction nozzle to get max trim plus a few extra parts ( jetmaniac will hook you up ) or some lugs welding on the reduction nozzle
Now I have sold my 2 sj I'm going to one hull I'm keeping the x . Simply because it will be on an fr2 ( hopefully). I don't use trim in the surf to flip . I will be using the ski a little flat water ,fr2 not being the lightest I think I will need MAX trim If I want to try flatwater flip

btw x metal has just designed a new trim ring that requires no grinding of the nozzle

The arm on the trim ring was repositioned back to allow more slack in the
cable and may installation easier
