That answers it, thanks. I have a Skat reduction nozzle that had bosses for trim and out is specific to my 140 mag pump. So maybe xmw is the way to go? On the other hand, I like the ez pull concept.....

Were is the best place to buy a trim system for a superjet from, i don't want to spend to much. Or does anyone have a second hand one for sale? Thanks.

Am I the only one who picked up on this phrase? The Thrust system is excellent in all forms but certainly not in the budget minded ballpark at $750. The x-metal system is excellent as well but you'll have to weld mounts onto a stock reduction nozzle or get the raider reduction nozzle so around $325 for the system from jetmaniac on here and then a used reduction nozzle for an additional $75-$100.

If you're just trying to get something that will work fairly well without a lot of money, look up CATS or C.A.T.S. (cheap arse trim system). It's basically a raider trim and steering system bolted onto a SJ with a pro-tec or custom cable. Th whole CATS setup shouldn't cost more than $150-$200 tops. It won't give you as much of a trim angle as the others without modification but for half the price of the x-metal system and a quarter of the price of the thrust system, it's certainly a more cost effective solution for some.

In short i am sure xscreams system does what they intend it to . but you main difference is in manufacturing . You cannot say why is a billet aftermarket cylinder $3000 and why is an oem $1000
It is in the time it takes to machine a perfect one of a kind precision billet piece that has proven itself for years .
our kit is not missing one piece needed to get you out riding like most others are as well as the ez pull cables i have never had a single one break yet .
our kit to compare with x is $550 retail and that includes everything but reduction nozzle and steering nozzle and it will the last trim you will even consider after running it .

our kit include alot of billet components and other hardware
trim ring and arm ,bushings pulley system ,pulley shield , adjustable stopper , trim lever ,cable ,steering cable ball joint ,if needed reduction nozzle , steering nozzle
and all nuts and bolts needed full assembled ready to bolt in
money back gaurantee if you dont think it was money well spent send it back i will refund the entire item .
i never had one come back

I wanted a complete system, I don't really want to have to buy bits and bobs as I won't really no what I will exactly need. The thrust system is a bit out of my price range. Is there any others systems that are complete that are any cheaper?

Pretty sure thrust is the only one that is complete with all parts needed. Protec sells a complete system but I believe it's a drop nozzle so it would still have to be modified.

Is there an obvious and compelling advantage to the Thrust system other than the pulley system? It's twice as much money.

both the thrust ez and straight pull are the same price, i believe its $750 on their website. The straight pull trim system isn't listed as complete on their website, but if you read the fine print it says 750 for everything.
