Trim tube leaks inside hull

Just found out the tube that holds my trim cable leaks water into the engine bay of my hull. Any suggestions on how I prevent that from happening anymore? Thanks

or silicone if the permanence of 5200 spooks you.

I used a rubber stopper the size of my trim tube and drilled a hole in it then cut it so that it easily slips onto the cable and wedged it into place with a slight amount of silicone on it to hold it in place.

Where did you get the rubber stopper? I looked for one for my 2nd cooling line tube in but couldn't find one. Or the people at the store didn't understand what a rubber stopper was

I use rubber hose clamped over the cable and tube. Simple.
