Here are some pics of the first Viper being prepped for paint. This hull was designed for flat water riding. The Viper is based on the Matrix hull which in a -4 option is 8" shorter than the Matrix. Combined with the stable characteristics of the Matrix, the Viper will prove to be very well balanced.

In comparison to the Matrix the top deck is 2" lower. Hood is 1" lower. Pole is moved forward 3". Tray is 2" wider overall. Hull is 8" shorter.

Some specs:
Overall Length 79"
Hull Length 78" in full length and 74" with a -4" option with removable hull extensions.
Tray Length 29"
Tray Width 14" at front and 17" at rear.
Rail Height 5.5"

Sweet, assuming the pricing and weights will be similar to the Matrix. Do you have a picture of them side by side? Is the top deck lower from the top of the rail or is the tray lowered?

Looks good, I just sold the silver XF that I brought to Canada yesterday to its new owner. All new guts in it with an XS865, beautiful ski, didnt want to sell it but I had bought it to keep me happy while waiting for my Rickter. What I learned from that is that Bobby/Trinity has absolutely the best quality glasswork in the industry, inside and out!

Thank you all for the positive comments.

The best side by side for now just for a comparison. The weight is 10 lbs less per build compared to the Matrix, the prices are the same as the Matrix.
The difference in the bottom is that it is 4" shorter in full length and 8" shorter in the minus 4" option. The spray rail is also molded in, rocker is the same. Top deck is lower from the center, in the nose and also lower at the rails.

More info will be updated to the website, along with better pictures in the future. Right now just wanted to get this out, a lot of guys have been asking about it. This should give enough info for those interested. Again more will come to light as the people who have purchased get them in the water.

Any updates for us Bobby!!??

I spoke to Bobby last week about trading my Matrix ES Hull in on a Viper or Matrix Pro -2" and he is booked right up with orders for the Vector race hulls and won't get around to building another Viper until early next year. From what I understand, there has only been one built to date and it went overseas to NZ.

Lol, the only way I get a new hull is if I decide to move back to Canada....wages are good, benefits are fantastic, offers are plentiful but the surf sucks!
