Just in the past few years am hulls have come so far, in not only quality but also design. It can be very hard for someone to make a decision on which one to spend their hard earned cheddar on. As builders we should all come together for a friendly competition. Pick a weight, affordable drive train package that the masses run, pick an event and we all have a demo on an "even playing field". Then the ride of every hull could finally be determined

This would be awesome! Should be enough hull builders in Cali for something to happen.

It's hard to beat the Trixstar Trevor has for sale. That hull has a lot of love in it! Chad does great work and is a fantastic dude to talk to. Also I met Josh and world finals and rode a phantom. Josh was awesome to talk to as well. His skis are built phenomenally well. Cool ski and seems to be a cool ride, just wish it had some power and was tuned for my test ride.

Sorry EME guys, just don't buy any of them.

Id put josh's craftsmanship/quality and fit and finish to Pepsi challenge against any of the other hulls in the same price range on the market any day.. I cannot give a ride report because mine isn't fully assembled yet, But i will tell you the quality of my glass hull and the customer service i got from Josh was above and beyond what i expected.. He definitely has something to be confident about..

I was impressed talking to him on the phone.
He offered to arrange a demo, which I need to schedule.
Derrick at Hurricane was very easy to talk to but I was surprised that they have no demos available, even if you go to their shop.
TrixStar is too far away to do a demo even if available, I don't know if they do demos or not.

We got multiple phantoms ready anyday of the week. Someone wants a ride just ask Josh and he will get ahold of me if he doesn't have one ready

Having a demo says a lot. I was very disappointed hearing this at finals because I was interested in buying a C3 from them. Immediately changed my mind when a company is not eager for new customers. Sad ti hear thst even traveling to them they have nothing.

Josh is great to talk to. Had no problems asking anything and he had plenty of skis out there to see and demo although unfortunately I did not. Quality of his work I could see and very impressed on how clean and organized

I offer demos, I've had skis at WF and Daytona where I let people demo them. I saw some positive comments in this thread from the people that actually tried it and some negative ones from people that didn't bother to ride it and formulate their own opinions. I've since shortened the pole after getting some feedback from a couple Trixstar owners, I swapped them out shorter poles free of charge (@trevair111 even kept his original.). They got back to me and said it made a huge difference in the ride. There's a perfect example of why I love to hear any feedback I can about my hulls, so I can try to improve upon it.

I'm hoping it will work out that I can make it to Daytona again, this time with a 701 setup as well, but I have some other obligations that are right around the same time, so I'll have to see.

I'm sure you'd be happy with any of the above mentioned skis. @sinisterjosh209 is pumping out some amazing quality hulls and EME has been around for a long time for a reason. So good luck with your hunt for a new hull.

Just don't forget that the Trixstar S is full visual carbon, including the engine bay and handle pole

ok so the green havoc that ryan has been riding and was demoing at finals is about 3 inches longer which made for a less nimble ride...
my yellow one is what you get when ordered nothing special requested about it...
rcw is consistently improving there designs with non stop r&d testing and feedback from there riders
personally the green one needed a lot of love ryan rode the poop out that thing and locked like a rockstar doing it but it wasn't set up anything close to mine
regardless what u get how u set up ur boat will make the ride
the havocs r bullet proof I lawn darted mine in like a foot of water at finals didn't even chip the paint lol my last ski would have split in two
the wait time may be a a little longer but these guys put their hart into each build with quality and longevity in mind plus a warranty and their customer service is on point too
make trip to vegas and ride mine

Yes, I'm in Canada. That's not me selling it, one of my customers. He's looking to upgrade to a bigger motor from the 701 that's in his. He's going with a Trixstar with 155 pump tunnel next.
