Figured I'd share an easy project I completed. Got sick of having to call a buddy whenever I wanted to ride, was bored one day and decided to build a hauler in the back of my ole Comanche.

Quick trip to the hardware store and a few beers (not the straightest cuts) resulted in this, works like a charm. Cost about $100 including the winch (harbor freight). Could easily support an electric winch but wasnt necessary.

Subbed. If I can't get a hitch hauler I may have to fab one of these up. I had a similar setup last year but with PVC on the ramp..... Worked great until I left the ramp at a boat launch late in the season.

I'm sure you guys can come up with something better, but this has worked for me. Figured it would give people a few ideas. Just found a cross brace in the bed and drilled through. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Thanks for sharing. I'm still working on my plans and every time I see a build I get a new idea.

How well does that hand crank slid it up with wheels? I keep debating power winch or hand.

Great job!
