Trying to put this Xmetal pole on, blowsion steering cable ?

So trying to figure out how this cable is supposed to fit into this equation. Only thing I can think is to cut the piece like a hook to hook it instead of sliding it down the cable. Cable is too big for all that.

Ok doesn't explain how the clamp part is going to hold anymore than the first section of cable.

Seems that the cable won't be long enough to reach steering if I utilize the end of the cable

This is a basic idea of the gap left using the clamp to hold the "smaller" part of the cable.

We just cut the side off so you can side it in from the side. The blowsion cable is way thick to ever make it through the hole. We didn't cut it as big as the hole, just small enough where the cable popped in with a ton of pressure, then stayed in. So like 1mm or .5mm smaller and hook it a bit.
Only takes a sec. Just don't cut it too wide. Start small and keep trying to force the cable in. If it doesn't fit, just file until you can get it to pop in from the side.

If you went to big and it just slides right in from the side, then just run a zip tie around it holding it in.

My buddy was freaking out too. That's part of building a ski. Or any custom thing. Not everything just bolts right in. Just modify. Gotta make something happen.

You might be right with coming up from the bottom. Never thought about that. Just do everything I said, but come from the bottom, and the cable holder will help hold it in place even if you made the slit too big.

Alright, so this is turning into more of a project than I think it's worth but I'm in the same boat. I notched the bracket to accept the blowsion cable, but if I turn left the cable bottoms out before it hits the steering stop. This is with everything in the rear disconnected. Not to mention, I only have about 8 threads on the rear since I can't extend the top.

It's almost like the bracket that secures the cable needs to move further away from the turn plate. I may be able to open up the bracket further and move the retainer to the rear. Probably should have just stuck with the standard cables. Anyone else share my pain?

I got mine to work great.

1: Leave the nozzle end off and make sure it won't catch on anything.

2: Center the end at the turn plate in the threads.

3: move the cable bracket on the bars closer to the center (directions say about a thumbs width from the turn plate) until you hit both stops.

If it's too far out from the turn plate, you won't get stop both ways.

Also make sure you have already tried to adjust the cable (or the bracket slide) to get it to almost hit stop equally both ways. If it hits one way adjust it until it won't anymore, see if it hits the other way. If so move the bracket inward to the turn plate
