The problem is it seems to make my ski have a "plowing" effectPersonally I think higher is better. That way they make less contact at speed and only come into effect when you drop the nose in or slow down.
It's either he has deviated from the the original product and they have too large of a footprint or they are too low.The problem is it seems to make my ski have a "plowing" effect

I somewhat disagree, to my experience now, they seem to keep the nose down the further up they are, I could be wrong, but that's how I feel.Personally I think higher is better. That way they make less contact at speed and only come into effect when you drop the nose in or slow down.

I'm new to understanding how the tubbies play into everything, yes I have a brief understanding... That's what they call it eh? FootprintDo you understand how the footprint of a hull interacts with the surface of the water at different speeds?
In a straight line a tubby is going to give more lift the a ski. When going into a turn as the ski leans over the water passes around the tubbie giving lift to the nose helping the ski to carve the turn.I'm new to understanding how the tubbies play into everything, yes I have a brief understanding... I know there's alot that factors in to how a ski rides... I understand the "hydro dynamics" lol
