Agree on the overpriced part. Disagree on one length being needed. When riding flat I run a short rideplate and adjust the pole all the way in. When I ride surf I put a longer plate on, adjust the pole all the way out, and rock the risers back some.

Agreed! and not to mention they are great for finding the right length/length you prefer. If you put a non adjustable on you are kind of stuck with what you got and may not be the best position.

Cant really go wrong with any adj pole. We sell rrp and aura, I like the aura because its lightweight, made in the usa and FULLY adj.oh and it comes with a chinpad

Also good if you plan on eventually upgrading hulls, makes for less parts to sell and re-purchase.

Buy the blowsion pole it's the only original pole on your list. Plus you will have OVP steering that makes steering where it should be. The best pole hands down made in the USA.

The rest are just copy's of RRP poles. Sad.

The KP pole similarities only go as far as having two tubes and a hole for the steering...the construction and design is a bit different...like saying the Blowsion pole is a copy of the RRP pole because it adjusts up and down and it has a steering mount. But we understand that you are contractually required to be a fan boy :) This wasn't meant to be a bash thread. Sad.

The blowsion pole is far more origonal and much better quality then most of the poles listed here. I'm sorry, but the kp pole is still a copy of the rrp.. just a much cheaper copy of it.

How many twin tube poles do we need!?

xscream and blowsion were able to come up with different pole, why is everyone else stuck on the rrp design

I ran my RRP on my SJ for a couple years, then when i bought my FootRocket i only had to shorten the pole, so definitely saved me some $$$. I really like my RRP btw.

Everything is a copy of everything in this industry. Keeps the fanboys busy beating dead horses and typing on here. If RRP didn't have such a large profit margin there would be no motivation for replicas and product competition. Competition breeds affordability and more options which is good for everyone. I've had Xmetal, RRP, Aura and I've seen/ridden the Blowsion and KP. They're all good. Some are more proud of their products than others... $$
Only ones I've seen break/wear out are Xmetal. For best bang for the buck and without knowing the price of KP I'd say go for that or the Aura. Unless you have $$ and want the lightweight billet RRP or want OVP steering.

I've just bought a ski with an RRP
Pole and bracket, thinking of parting it out.

What's it worth please guys?
