I just bought a PFP and want to switch it out from the B pipe on my DASA 4mm freak..... I have dual 48 novitecs ...Do I make any changes on the low speed and / or high speed screws (which way ...leaner or richer)
I made the same swap a few years ago. Same engine and pipe, different carbs. I didn't have to do much. I used same specs and turns on screws and eventually fattened up the low speeds about 1/8 turn. Really not much change at all.
I agree with pablo. My 898 php from b pipe to pfp maybe 1/4 turn difference on high speed screw. Always start rich if in doubt. Add 1/4 turn to b safe.
As long as compressions not too high u should be ok with running the same octane fuel as u did with the b pipe. Good idea to test compression and see where u are at just to be safe.
