I should have known, there is a thread for that, thanks. So I gather, the ones in my pic would forbe someone who will do multiple tricks in a row. I still wouldn't mind having small humps in the back to keep the feet in...something to think about. I got a different problem, who ever laid the turf on my ski, did not pad it enough so the top of them are hard as rock, everytime I kick in my feet , I'm in tears. Gots to fix that. I could just lay a pad on top of the existing turf and another layer of turf to finish the look, right? Kinda like in the pic.

of course you can, I have bought skis in the past and just turfed over the existing on the tray instead of buying more padding, of course starting new is the best but it really doesn't make a difference. Use dap weldwood contact cement in the red can, not the green can. Make sure you let both sides dry completely before adhering together and you will be all good. Also when cutting buy a ton of blades and switch them out constantly to make sure your edge stays clean and sharp.
