Turfed Ski

well i just wanted to say that since i'm the first one with a FULLY turfed ski how its holding up,


its holding up perfectly fine after 8 months of riding for me, no peeling yet so far.

there was one little piece that was on the hood, but i think it was like this the whole time. i just used a lil super glue and its fine now....

no....???

i just didnt do it because of the sanding, i did it because i thought it looked cool, plus i like to try and be "Original" i personally LOVE how my ski is, and if you guys dont liek it .....

next time if you do a fully turfed ski instead of doing the all black with the monster liked we talked about you should do a black with white stripes like a zebra
 
Can you do super deep subs with that thing. I was thinking that the turf would slow the ski down as it entered the water but then changed my mind thinking that the grooves in the turf would hold air as let the ski slide through the water like sharks skin.

Either way I think a cheap spray balm paint job would have been cheaper than turf but it is different.

Good to hear... One note of advice though. If you place a small piece of turf between the gunwale and the strap, you won't have strap marks on the turf.
