Lay the sides down first, then the tray and then the panel last. You will spend alot of time cutting and fitting the foothold pieces so be patient. Here is a picture of my footholds. They are not the best but you get the idea.

Cheers for the pics Mike, your turfing looks pretty dam good to me, i will be well pleased if mine looks as good as that.

I'm just starting to rip off old stock Matt's and prep before cutting foot holds and am having trouble removing the glue from underneath the rail caps, its hard like super glue and its right at the edge when the turf meets the finished paint, i thought i could chisel it off but its to risky, one slip and it could be costly.

Whats the best way to remove this hard glue?

Thanks

Thanks. I used a wire wheel and a cordless drill. Came right off.

I have cut out the try for the foot holds to fit into and it seams like im having to over stretch when im holding the handle bars, i have never used footholds before but it definatly feels very uncomfortable, my pole is only shortened by 1 and 1/2 inches. is this some thing that you just get used to after time????

The footholds are Kickers from Blowsion, are these known for being further back in the tray area? if so is there any way i can move them forward?

There is a lip that runs up the back of the try so theres only one position they can be fitted unless i cut the lip off and glass over any gaps.

This is first time trying this and dont want to end up with the wrong foot position after the job is all finished and turfed.

Thanks guys.

You'll get used to it. I'm just over 5'9" and have a -3 pole and footholds. If I stood in the ski when it was on the trailer, it seemed impossible that I'd adjust to it.

But, in the water, and after only a couple rides, it seemed perfectly natural. Plus, you won't be riding in the footholds all the time, just when you want to pull off some tricks.

SxiPro , what footholds are you using? have u got any pics there. Iv just been comparing mine with other ones iv seen tonight and not sure if iv bought the right ones or not, the kickers don't seem to be very popular with guys on this site, is there any reason for this???? are they comfortable or not ??

I'm over in Ireland and we don't have a huge choice of footholds to choose from here.
