Super Jet Turfing rails

I was wanting to turf the rails on my RN SJ, I was wondering if the precut rail turf kits were one piece for the rails? does anyone have any pictures of installation? If the rail kit has seems, how many are there, and where are they?

I was just wondering because i didn't want seems if at all possible, but it seems like with a full sheet of hydroturf that is still not even possible

The pre-cut kits have plenty of seams. Seams are in the back corners (notched to make the bend) and also somewhere in the middle because the kits aren't long enough.
I've done both a kit and just used sheet turf. I prefer the latter method because you can get away without seams on the back and also the nose (which isn't included in pre-cut kits).

these are pre-cut. 4" wide x 100" long (when put together). like Matt said, looks like a seem on the nose, then the side and notched in the back.

Don't do it keep the stock rails. No need for more items that need to be repaired over time. IMO

buy a sheet and just cut some pieces out of that and you'll have loads spare for when it rips off

invest in a good heat gun and some good contact adhesive it just takes time and plenty of heat

I had a sheet and just cut mine like 7 diamonds wide I think and used a heat gun. I applied my weldwood and stuck the top on first cause then you can go down the rail and stick the turf where you want it. Then come back and heat gun the rest of the turf and stick it down. Then I came back with a new razor for each side (to avoid the death of 1,000 cuts) and removed the excess on the bottom. I grabbed a drill with a 4" sanding disk to give the proper angle to the turf at the bottom so it wouldn't come off as bad. I have some come up every now and then but nothing major. I also have a seem in the middle of both my rails and haven't experienced any peeling there. Just match up your diamonds and it's not too noticeable.
