The best way to apply it is to apply a thin coat and let it dry to a tack then apply another coat and let that dry to a tack (To both the turf and tray). Then you stick the turf down and be careful cuz once you stick it down its down.

Which makes me think that using a heat gun to get the turf formed to the sides would be best done before you lay the glue down. Or does it not work as good because the glue isnt holding the bottom down?

You need to heat the turf to form it to the ski so the cement needs to be on it. I never roughen up the turf only the ski and that has worked for me and I apply two coats of cement to the ski and turf.


For padding I use kitchen mats from Wal-Mart they are closed cell and 1/2" thick I use two layers and they hold up great the mats cost $7.00 each SXR-Lou turned me onto this.
